This transmission bolts directly to OM601–OM606, M111, and M10X (M102/M103/M104) engines with no adapter plate needed, making it the go-to option for manual swaps on classic and tuner builds.

Imported units sourced from Europe, since the 716.6XX was never offered in the U.S. market. Originally fitted to CDI models, the gear ratios are optimized for diesel torque delivery and excellent acceleration while remaining robust under heavy load. Known for strength—customers are running setups with 170cc pumps and 3 bar boost without issue.
